The Presby Memorial Iris
Gardens
was established in 1927
to honor Frank H. Presby of
Montclair,
a leading horticulturist and
a founder of The American Iris
Society.
Today, the gardens offer a
spectacular display
of thousands of iris varieties
to visitors from all over the
world.
MISSION STATEMENT
The
Presby Memorial Iris Gardens is a living museum dedicated to
cultivating and displaying
a
rich variety of irises, recording the history of the genus, providing activities for the public, and,
in
partnership with the County of Essex,
maintaining
the gardens.
